As of 2015, about 8000 precious lives are lost everyday due to a serious shortage of medicines in the world. Those lives are possible to be saved by receiving proper ordinary medical treatments in the developed countries.
In the present, 2.4 billion people which number is equivalent to about one-third of the world’s population are in the state of being unable to receive proper medical care and medicines.

In spite of those current situation in the world, for example in hospitals, and pharmacies even only in Japan, over US$450million’s prescription medicines are disposed every year without providing the people who actually need medicines. In addition, many of prescription medicines which have been prescribed for patients remain in their home and are disposed by patients as well. The efficiency use of medicines is not only helpful for all patients in need in the developing countries but also beneficial for us to reduce medical cost and lead to the reduction of tax burden.

We Pharmacy Without Borders take action to educate people and widely spread the current situation of the world and devote our energies to save as many lives as possible.
It’s necessary for the economic growth of the world to grow the economy of the developing countries. To support the medical systems of the developing countries will lead to support their economic development and finally lead to support the economic growth of our countries. In order to support further economic growth of us, it is necessary to support the developing and emerging countries to promote their economic growth.

As long as all of medicines have been developed and manufactured, provided by Non-Governmmental Organizations like private pharmaceutical manufacturers and wholesale companies which need to ensure their reasonable profit, we need to establish a business method which supply a benefit to all patients in need in the developing countries as well as pharmaceutical manufacturers and wholesale companies in order to realize the true independence and improvement of access to medicines and sustainable development in the developing countries without support from government and Non-Profit Organizations. If we pharmaceutical companies persistently and positively keep developing and supplying medicines into the developing and emerging countries through a beneficial business method, we can promote the economic growth of their market, and government can ensure sufficient resources for developing the health/medical insurance systems. We are taking action to contribute to supply a benefit to both of the developing countries and the developed countries in order to realize the true independence and the improvement of access to medicines and the sustainable development in the developing countries and the economic growth of the world through supplying medicines.
